Attendance Make-up
Students who have missed more than 7 excused or unexcused absences from any class, including advisory, can attend attendance makeup days. Starting October 1st, students can report to Mrs. Austin's classroom in the G building from 3:15-4:15 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $5.00/per hour to attend. Students can use cash or check to pay. Made-up absences will allow students to participate in extracurricular activities as well as have parking privileges. If not made-up, the student will not be allowed to participate in the above activities.
**Important: These make-up days do not apply to Exam exemptions.
Attendance Waivers
Attendance waivers are available for chronic and acute illnesses, certain court appearances, and deaths in the immediate family. Waivers must be turned in a week after returning to school with attached documentation. Forms can be found in the main office and the counseling office. Waivers must be turned into Mr. Harbin in the main office. No attendance waivers will be accepted in the spring for the fall semester.

Any student enrolled in Biology, English II, Math I, or Math III must take their state exam. Certain Career-Technical Education (CTE) courses also require state exams. Students are exempt from non-state exam courses if they meet the following criteria:
A grade of A and 4 absences or less in the course.
A grade of B and 3 absences or less in the course.
